ALI CAT

Ali Cat is a circus artist who blends smooth, captivating dance with an intriguing, mysterious energy. Her performances are a seamless mix of elegance and excitement, drawing the audience into a world where every move feels mesmerizing and unexpected. She has been performing for over 10 years and uses her expertise and natural ability to connect with the crowd bringing a playful, interactive element to the show. Whether on stage or as a roaming character, Ali Cat always leaves a lasting impression!

With dual swords glowing in brilliant LED light, Ali Cat delivers a high-energy act that combines masterful weaponry with captivating visual effects. As her swords twirl and slice through the air, the dazzling lights pulse with every motion, creating an unforgettable performance filled with intensity and precision.

 

 

CHRISTINA SIRMONS

Christina Sirmons is an international award-winning performance artist, yoga instructor, dance instructor, archery instructor, personal trainer and corrective exercise specialist based in San Diego, California.  She has enchanted audiences across the United States with over 400 epic and mystically awe-inspiring fusion belly dance performances utilizing a variety of props including fire, sword, veil, finger cymbals, LED full length wings and her own live snakes! With training in Middle Eastern dance since 2007 and yoga since 2009, she fuses this with interpretive dance to provide elegant and intriguing performances.

In addition to her own company’s performances she’s performed with Living World Entertainment with the Creative Director, Priscilla Stephen at over 100 events and galas across the United States. The characters this company produces are the finest in performance art, and clients know to expect only the most exquisite and ethereal performances.

She is also a corrective exercise specialist providing superior programs for therapeutic movement, biomechanics, injury prevention and treatment, neurological training, and healing psychology for those with injuries and/or multiple health conditions for private clients and at Dr. Peter Mackay’s Elite Performance Institute in San Diego, California.

DJ KAERIE

DJ Kaerie opens the Ascension Gothica room at the Tortured Hearts Ball, setting the tone with dark beats and an immersive atmosphere.

A longtime presence in San Diego’s dark music scene, Kaerie is known for crafting dynamic dance floors rooted in Gothic, Darkwave, Industrial, EBM, and Futurepop. Her sets are melodic, driving, and hypnotic, guided by a deep sense of harmony, pacing, and mood.

Kaerie has DJ’d at Sabbat (The Flame and Spin Nightclub), Taking Liberties, Rogue Planet, Club Retro, Rapture, Blue Monday, and Gothic Pride, and helped shape the sound and vision of Club Ascension for nearly a decade. A devoted vinyl collector, she brings deep respect for musical craft and intentional selection to every set, balancing precision and passion behind the decks.

MR. JAY AND BUNNY

The Talented Mr. Jay and Bunny are shibari artists who have been creating wickedly playful rope bondage art together for the past three years. They regularly perform in San Diego, mesmerizing audiences with beautiful shibari and outlandish, theatrical performances. With over 20 years of combined experience, they have taught shibari at Devil Mask Studio and House of Black, performed at Bondage Ball, and designed and executed numerous guerrilla rope installations over the years.

 

 

Nathaniel Allenby

Nathaniel Allenby is the visionary founder of Cirque Quirk, San Diego’s highest rated circus entertainment company dedicated to inspiring and motivating audiences to live their best lives and pursue their passions. With 18 years of professional experience, Nathaniel has performed in 20 countries across five continents, dazzling audiences with his incredible talents, which include stilt walking, juggling, partner acrobatics, clowning, and LED & fire spinning.

Known for his dynamic 30-minute stage shows, he brings joy, laughter, and awe with feats like juggling four clubs on stilts while chewing bubble gum in Spanish! Nathaniel is also the author of The Cycle of Kindness, chronicling his journey of cycling over 28,000 miles across 10 countries and 30 U.S. states, spreading positivity and kindness along the way. Beyond the stage, he channels his creativity into Allenby Art, where he shares his landscape photography and visual artwork.

A devoted father and dreamer, Nathaniel lives in South Park with his wife Alexandra and daughters Aurora and Ivy. His ultimate goal is to unite like-minded visionaries to bring healing and peace to the world, advancing humanity toward a brighter and more compassionate future.

ROBIN ROTH

Announcing headlining DJ in the “Gothica Entranced” Darkwave and Gothic themed room – Robin Roth! Robin will be DJing from 10:30pm to 1:00am in the Presidio Ballroom!

Robin Roth is a dynamic presence in San Diego’s music and radio scene, bringing over 25 years of experience across radio, events, and multimedia. Known for her tenure at 91X, she held key roles as Assistant Program Director, Music Director, and On-Air Talent. Robin also produced and hosted The 11th Hour on Rock 105.3, a show that delved into genres like Darkwave, Industrial, Electronic Body Music, Futurepop, and Post-Punk.

Beyond radio, Robin has been a prominent figure in the San Diego music community, contributing as a reporter and blogger for NBC’s SoundDiego, where she covered the local scene. Her smooth and sultry voice has also been featured in commercials, video games, and other multimedia projects. A true advocate for San Diego’s vibrant underground community, Robin hosts and DJs two well-known local events—Sabbat and Ascension—that celebrate the local Gothic dance scene.

Victori Violet

Victori Violet is a multi-talented performer, owner of Expressive Entertainers LLC and producer of the Queer Clown Club. Their arts forms include fire dancing, burlesque, LED dancing, clowning and American Sign Language. Their energetic performances rally the crowd and satiate your sensory sorrows.

YOLANDA VARGAS & INFINITY DANCE SPORT CENTER

Yolanda Vargas is the passionate and accomplished owner of Infinity Dance Sport Center and an esteemed instructor of 42 years at UCSD. With a career that began in the disco era, Yolanda has taught, competed, and judged dance all over the world. Her extensive experience includes performing in movies and TV shows as a dancer, alongside teaching over thousands of students how to dance both socially and competitively.

Yolanda thrives on the challenge of learning new dance styles, techniques, and staying updated as dance continually evolves. Her greatest joy comes from watching beginner students experience the transformation in their abilities. The look of disbelief on their faces when they first attempt a new move, followed by the exhilaration when they master it, fills her with pride. She deeply enjoys seeing her students not only master the moves but also connect with the music, other people and experience the joy of dancing.

While she offers regular group classes at UCSD and private lessons at her studio, Yolanda’s heart finds its true fulfillment in working with military veterans every Sunday and Alzheimer’s patients, their families, and caregivers once a month. Her dedication to these groups is a testament to her commitment to using dance as a tool for healing, connection, and joy.
